Student Participation at Conferences
A student is someone who is enrolled in a degree-granting program (either undergraduate or graduate) at an institution of higher learning and registered full-time according to the definition of his/her respective academic institution, and who is not employed full-time. Students must submit written verification from a professor or other verifiable school authority at their institution attesting to their full-time student status when making an application. In particular, note that post-docs and part-time students would not normally qualify as students for IAEE purposes.
The requirement must be met at the time of initial submission of research to the conference in question.Thus, a member who is a full-time student at the time of initial submission of research for presentation at a IAEE conference will be eligible to participate in events designated for students even if that person's status changes such that he/she is employed full-time at the time of the conference in question. Students must submit student verification form attesting to their student status.
Note: Only one pdf document should be uploaded during registration. Therefore, the student verification form should be uploaded to the system as a single pdf file.
Spouse/Guest Registration Fees
Spouses or accompanying persons receive the lowest registration fee. Their fee should only cover the costs of the opening/welcome reception, evening gala dinner function(s), and social event attendance rights. Spouses/accompanying persons do not have access to conference meetings. Efforts should be made to ensure that a delegate who wishes to attend sessions does not register as a Spouse/Guest registrant.

The Conference Delegate Cancellation/Substitution Policy
IAEE’s cancellation policy is fairly straight forward, following industry standards. Our current policy states:
“CANCELLATIONS/SUBSTITUTIONS: All cancellations and substitutions must be received by email.
Cancellations received on or before November 14th, 2025, are subject to a non-refundable <$250.00 minimum>
administrative fee. Cancellations received after November 15th, 2025, will be honored; however, no refund will be made. There will be no refunds for “no shows.” There is no exception allowed to this policy. Should you
be unable to attend, substitutions may be made to transfer your registration to another member of your
organization at any time up to November 15th,2025.”
